Different Types of Local CWU UnitsChurch Women United offers four different models of unit structure: the Local Unit, Celebrations Unit, World Day of Prayer Unit, and Affiliate Unit. These are offered to allow women to come together and do programs suited to their needs and concerns. There are varying levels of expectations from the unit itself, and from the national and state units depending on the model that is adopted. At any time, a unit can change its designation according to the life of the unit. This can be done by contacting Ecumenical Development at the National Office. |
